Extra Details:: CD18 represents the common beta2 integrin subunit that associates non-covalently with the alpha beta chains of CD11a/LFA-1a, CD11b/Mac-1, and CD11c to form various integrin heterodimers. It is expressed strongly on lymphocytes and monocytes, and weakly on granulocytes, CD18 mediates a variety of heterotypic and homotypic intercellular adhesion reactions, and it regulates the ligand-binding activities of the various CD11/CD18 complexes. The antibody has not been reported to inhibit cell adhesion. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: ≤ 1ug/10e6 cells Immunohistochemistry: paraffin embedded and frozen sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
