- Extra Details:
- Human CD16 is a low affinity receptor for complexed IgG and occurs in two distinct forms, as a glycosyl phosphtidyl inositol (GPI) anchored protein in granulocytes, and as an integral membrane protein on NK cells and macrophages. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Protocol: 1. Five x 10e5 ficoll prepared human peripheral blood lymphocytes were washed and pre incubated 45 minutes with 80ul of C2267-33A at 1ug/ml. Cells were washed twice and incubated with IgG (FITC) Goat anti-Mouse, after which they were washed three times, fixed and analyzed by FACS. A net 14% sub population of the cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.8 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG1 negative control at a similar concentration. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
