- Extra Details:
- CD16 is a 50-65kD cell surface molecule which exists in two forms-a transmembranous form expressed by NK cells and some T cells and a phosphatidylinositol linked form expressed by granulocytes. CD16 is a low affinity receptor for IgG (FcR III) and is an important receptor mediating ADCC by NK cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: Neat-1:5. Use 10ul of working dilution to label 10e6 cells or 100ul of human whole blood. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: X63-653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
