- CD11b (Mac-1, alphaM integrin, Cr3, MO-1, C3bi Receptor) is expressed on most macrophages, including resident and activated peritoneal macrophages and Kupffer cells and around 35% of alveolar macrophages. The antibody also labeled dendritic cells, granulocytes and microglial cells in the brain. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: Neat. 1:10, Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Hybridoma: NSO myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
