- CD11b is the 165 kDa αM chain which combines with the CD18 β2 integrin subunit to form the Mac-1 heterodimer. It is expressed on activated lymphocytes, monocytes, granulocytes and a subset of NK cells. CD11b functions in cell-cell and cell-substrate interactions and is a ligand for C3bi, CD50 (ICAM-3), CD54 (ICAM-1) and CD102 (ICAM-2). Applicatons: Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry and Flow Cytometry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: ≤1ug/1x10e6 cells. Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
