- CD10 (CALLA, Common Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia Antigen, Neprilysin, NEP, Neutral Endopeptidase 24.11, EC3.4.24.11) is a single chain 100kD glycoprotein, also known as Common Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia Antigen (CALLA), is a cell surface enzyme with neutral metalloendopeptidase activity which inactivates a variety of biologically active peptides. CD10 is expressed on the cells of lymphoblastic, Burkitt’s, and follicular germinal center lymphomas, and on cells from patients with chronic myelocytic leukemia (CML). It is also expressed on the surface of normal early lymphoid progenitor cells, immature B cells within adult bone marrow and germinal center B cells within lymphoid tissue. CD10 is also present on breast myoepithelial cells, bile canaliculi, fibroblasts, with especially high expression on the brush border of kidney and gut epithelial cells. Antigen distribution: Granulocytes > 95% cALL > 95% Peripheral blood lymphocytes < 1% T cells (lg+) < 1% B cells (lg-) < 1% Monocytes < 1% Thymocytes < 1% NK cells (CD16+) < 1% Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
