Extra Details:: CD9 is a 24kD member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily (TM4-SF) of cell surface receptors. It is expressed strongly on platelets, lymphoid progenitor cells, activated lymphocytes and endothelia, and, weakly, on eosinophils, granulocytes, monocytes, and macrophages. CD9 functions as an adhesion molecule where it mediates platelet aggregation and activation. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot, and Platelet inhibition and aggregation studies. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: ≤1ug/10e5 cells Immunohistichemistry: Frozen sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
