Extra Details:: CD1w2 cell surface antigen, a glycoprotein heterodimer of 12kD and 46kD. CD1w2 is expressed by cortical thymocytes and a minority of medullary thymocytes, with a pattern similar to antibodies of the CD1b cluster in humans. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Oher applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:25-1:50. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized mice were fused with cells of the mouse NS1 myeloma cell line. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
