- Extra Details:
- Porcine CD1 is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein and a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily of cell surface receptors. It has a domain organization similar to that of MHC class I molecules and is expressed in association with Beta2-microglobulin. CD1 is found on B cells, macrophages and immature thymocytes. There is evidence for a role of CD1 in presentation of lipids and peptides to T cells.1-3 Applications: • Flow cytometry1 • Immunohistochemistry (acetone-fixed, frozen tissue sections) • Immunoprecipitation1-3 Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: ≤ 1ug/10e6 cells Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20°C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
