Extra Details:: Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), which is synthesized during development in the fetal gut, is re-expressed in increased amounts in intestinal carcinomas and several other tumors. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry Staining: Brightness, 80; Cytoplasmic staining, 3+; Membrane staining, 2+; Background, 2+; Staining of mucus 2+ Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Pair: Capture: C1299-87W Detection: C1299-87O Hybridoma: Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
