- Carbonyl reductase is one of several monomeric, NADPH-dependent oxidoreductases having wide specificity for carbonyl compounds. This enzyme is widely distributed in human tissues. Another carbonyl reductase gene, CRB3, lies close to this gene on chromosome 21q. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Peptide ELISA Titer: 1:16,000 Western Blot: 0.2-0.5ug/ml; ~30-35kD band seen in Human Liver and Kidney lysates [Calculated MW of 30.4kD according to NP_001748.1. Immunohistochemistry: 1-2ug/ml; In paraffin embedded Human Kidney shows cytoplasmic staining of epithelial cells of renal tubules. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
