- Extra Details:
- Carbonic anhydrase (CA) catalyzes the reversible reaction of CO2 + H2O = HCO3- + H+ , which is fundamental to many processes such as respiration, renal tubular acidification and bone resorption. CA9, also known as membrane antigen MN and renal cell carcinoma (RCC)-associated antigen G250, is a transmembrane enzyme expressed primarily in carcinoma cells. It is one of the best markers for hypoxia and for RCC. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul to label 1x10e6 cells in U‑87 MG human cell line Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Carboxyfluorescein conjugates are sensitive to light.
