Extra Details:
Carbonic anhydrase II (CA2) is a cytosolic enzyme and has the highest activity among all known CAs. Mutations in the CA2 gene result in CA II deficiency syndrome, an autosomal recessive disorder that produces osteopetrosis, renal tubular acidosis and cerebral calcification. The amino acid sequence of human CA2 is 99%, 88%, 81%, 71%, and 50% identical to that of chimpanzee, canine, mouse/rat, chicken, and fruit fly. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
