- BRF2 is one of the multiple subunits of the RNA polymerase III transcription factor complex required for transcription of genes with promoter elements upstream of the initiation site. BRF2 is directly recruited to the TATA-box of polymerase III small nuclear RNA gene promoters through its interaction with the TATA-binding protein. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:16,000 Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml, observed in Hela and human placenta lysates on ~50kD bands Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
