Extra Details:: BMI-1 is a component of the Polycomb group (PcG) multiprotein PRC1 complex which ubiquitinates histone-2A at lys119, resulting in a heritable change in the ability of chromatin to express genes. BMI-1 is also required to stimulate the E3 ubiquitin ligase activity of RNF2/RING2 within the PRC1 complex. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
