- Extra Details:
- BLAME, also known as Signaling Lymphocyte Activation Molecule Family member 8 (SLAMF8), is an Ig superfamily protein that is part of the CD2 family of receptors. It is expressed on macrophages and dendritic cells. BLAME modulates signaling through the B-cell receptor and may also function during B-lineage commitment. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA (capture): 2-8ug/ml using B2106-02B as detection reagent. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
