- MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000. MaxLight™490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000. Bin1 is a ubiquitously expressed protein that interacts with the N-terminal region of the oncoprotein Myc. It inhibits cell transformation by Myc and has been implicted in Myc-mediated apoptosis. Bin1 is structurally related to amphiphysin, a breast cancer associated autoimmune antigen, and RVS167, a negative regulator of cell cycle in yeast. Bin1 is frequently absent in carcinoma cells and the gene maps to a hot spot for deletion in prostate cancer. Thus Bin1 has the features of a tumor suppressor and may play a role in apoptosis or cell cycle regulation. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitaton and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: detects Bin1 in a RIPA lysate of cells. Immunohistochemistry: Gives positive staining for Bin1 in C2C12, LNCap, HeLa, and Rat1 cells. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. *Recommended secondary antibodies: I1904-06C: IgG, H&L (HRP) (X-Adsorbed) Pab Gt xMo I1904-06H IgG, H&L (HRP) (X-Adsorbed) Pab Gt xMo Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
