Extra Details:: Betaine/GABA Transporter (BGT-1) is a 614aa long integral membrane protein belonging to the Sodium: Neurotransmitter Symporter family (1). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other potential application, though not tested is Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:10,000-1:100,000 using 50-100ng of control peptide/well. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended control peptide: B1082-05: Betaine, GABA Transporter, Rat (BGT1) Control Peptide. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
