- Extra Details:
- Benzoylecgonine is the predominant cocaine metabolite. This compound is not biologically active, but is used as an indicator of cocaine use. Applications: Suitable for use in competitive RIA, or ELISA for BE, or cocaine quantitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: P3X63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Affinity Constant: 5.8 x 10e9 Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
