- Benzoylecgonine is the predominant cocaine metabolite. This compound is not biologically active, but is used as an indicator of cocaine use. Applications: Suitable for use in competitive RIA, or ELISA for BE, or cocaine quantitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: P3X63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Affinity Constant: 5.8 x 10e9 Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Allophycocyanin (APC) is light sensitive. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
