Extra Details:: B lymphocyte stimulator (BLyS), a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamily of cytokines, induces B-cell proliferation and immunoglobulin secretion and is a key regulator of peripheral B-cell populations in vivo.. BLyS is made by immune-cells called monocytes and macrophages. When monocytes and macrophages are activated, BLyS is released and binds to a receptor found only on B cells. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 2-5ug to label 1x10e6 cells Immunofluorescence (IC): 1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: FO myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
