- Extra Details:
- Anthrax toxin plays a major role in the pathogenesis of anthrax. Virulent strains of Bacillus anthracis produce a complex exotoxin with 3 distinct antigenic components: the edema factor (EF), the protective antigen or binding domain (PA), and the lethal factor (LF). Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Matched Pairs: Capture: B0003-05B Detection: B0003-05A Hybridoma: Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Antibody Pair Recommendations: Use as the detection antibody in sandwich immunoassays with cat #B0003-05B as the capture antibody. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
