ATP synthase is extremely conserved through evolution and can be found in plants, fungi, bacteria and animals. The ATP synthase enzyme is a transmembrane protein responsible for driving the reversible reaction from ADP+ phosphate to ATP. This reaction is accomplished by a flux of protons across the membrane as a result of electron transfer. The ATP synthase protein has two main sections; the F1 ATPase (soluble) and the F0 ATPase (membrane embedded). The F1 section consists of the alpha, beta, gamma, delta and epsilon subunits. While the F0 consists of a, b and c subunits. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation, Immunofluorescence and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
