- Arginine methylation is a post-translational modification that results in the formation of asymmetrical and symmetrical dimethylated arginines (a- and sDMA). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml of this lot detected numerous proteins including SmD3 in RIPA lysates from Jurkat cells. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Included Positive Antigen Control: J9000: Jurkat lysate. Add 2.5ul of 2-mercaptoethanol/100ul of lysate and boil for 5 minutes to reduce the preparation. Load 20ug of reduced lysate per lane for minigels. Recommended Secondary Antibodies I1904-39: IgG, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt xRb I1904-40A: IgG, H&L, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt xRb I1904-46Q: IgG, H&L (HRP) Pab Gt xRb Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
