Extra Details:: Apolipoprotein E receptor 2 (ApoER2) is an NMDA associated protein found in neurons. It participates in important functions from guiding neurons in the embryonic brain to regulating synaptic signaling. It is also involved in debilitating neurodegenerative diseases such as schizophrenia and Alzheimer's disease. Cellular Localization: Type I membrane. Isoforms that contain the exon encoding for a furin-cleavage site are proteolytically processed, leading to a secreted receptor fragment. Positive Control: Mouse brain membrane preparation Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
