Extra Details:: APOA-1 is a major protein of plasma HDL. It participates in the reverse transport of cholesterol from tissues to the liver for excretion. APOA1 is a cofactor for LCAT, which is responsible for the formation of most plasma cholesteryl esters. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA and RIA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Affinity Constant: 5.0 x 10e6L/M. Determined by RIA followed by Scatchard Plot analysis. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
