Extra Details:: Albumin is a stable small polypeptide with a strong antigenicity. Its molecular weight is about 69000. It has a high mobility in electrophoresis, shows macroheterogeneity especially under pathological conditions and it can bind a large number of physiological and non-physiological molecules. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunoelectrophoresis and Double Radial Immunodiffusion. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Biotin/IgG protein molar ratio (B/P): ~5.3 Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
