Extra Details:: Adiponectin receptor 2/ADIPOR2, a 311-aa protein (mouse) with a Mol.wt of 35.4kD and human ADIPOR2 has 299aa which shares 95.2% homology with that of mouse. The ADIPOR2 serves as receptor for globular and full-length adiponectin and mediate increased AMPK and PPAR-alpha ligand activities, as well as fatty acid oxidation and glucose uptake by adiponectin. ADIPOR2 is most abundantly expressed in Liver. Applicatons: Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot:1-10ug/ml for affinity pure antibody using ECL technique. ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml, Control peptide can be used to coat ELISA plates at 1ug/ml. Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
