Extra Details:: ADAM22 is a member of the ADAM (a disintegrin and metalloproteinase) family and predominantly expressed in brain. ADAM 22 is non-catalytic unlike other proteins in the family as it does not contain a zinc binding domain. ADAM22 is a post synaptic neuron receptor for LGI 1 and also binds LGI4. ADAM22 serve as an integrin ligand. Mutations in ADAM22 are implicated in early infantile epileptic encephalopathy-61 and Brachydactyly type C. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
