- Extra Details:
- ABCE1 is a member of the ABC Transporter superfamily, although it is not a membrane transporter. It is cytosolically expressed and inhibits the RNaseL protein. Recently, it has been found to be essential for the assembly of immature immunodeficiency virus capsids. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:250-1:1000 (ECL). A band at ~68kD is seen on SDS-PAGE. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: HeLa and 293 cell lysates Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
