Extra Details:: Thyroglobulin (Tg) is a dimeric glycoprotein that is predominantly produced by follicular cells of the thyroid. This protein is secreted from the endoplasmic reticulum to the follicular lumen. Tg acts as a substrate for the synthesis of thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3) as well as storage of inactive forms of thyroid hormone and iodine. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 1-5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
