Extra Details:: Sifalimumab is a fully human monoclonal antibody targeting interferon-alpha. The levels of interferon-alpha are elevated in many patients with active systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE, or lupus) and other autoimmune disorders, and may be associated with disease activity. Sifalimumab may suppress the abnormal immune activity associated with lupus by binding to multiple interferon-alpha subtypes seen in the serum of lupus patients. Applications: Suitable for use in Functional Assays. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
