- Dupilumab is a monoclonal antibody blocking interleukin 4 and interleukin 13, used for allergic diseases such as eczema (atopic dermatitis), asthma and nasal polyps which result in chronic sinusitis. It is also used for the treatment of eosinophilic esophagitis and prurigo nodularis. Dupilumab binds to the alpha subunit of the interleukin-4 receptor (IL-4Ra), making it a receptor antagonist. Through blockade of IL-4Ra, dupilumab modulates signaling of both the interleukin 4 and interleukin 13 pathways. Dupilumab biosimilar uses the same protein sequences as the therapeutic antibody dupilumab. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Neutralization, Functional Assays such as bioanalytical PK and ADA assays, and those assays for studying biological pathways affected by Dupilumab. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
