- The cell division cycle (cdc) group of proteins consists of many protein classes, including cyclin dependent kinases (Cdks), phosphoprotein phosphatases, mitogen activated kinases, small GTPases, and cyclins. These proteins play a central role in regulating progression through the cell cycle through the formation and/or modification of key substrates. Cdc42 belongs to the Rho-family of GTPases, and promotes actin polymerization to form filopodia. Cdc25A is a dual-specificity phosphatase that acts on phosphorylated threonine and tyrosine residues of Cdks, leading to binding and activation of their partner cyclins. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-5ug/ml, ECL Immunoprecipitation: 3ug/200-300ul Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
