Extra Details:: SDHAF1 (Succinate dehydrogenase complex assembly factor 1) is one of the subunits of the succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) complex (or complex II) of the mitochondrial respiratory chain. SDHAF1 resides in the mitochondria, and is essential for SDH assembly, but does not physically associate with the complex in vivo. Mutations in this gene are associated with SDH-defective infantile leukoencephalopathy (mitochondrial complex II deficiency). Unlike the related protein SDHAF2, SDHAF1 is not thought to be a tumor suppressor. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunofluorescence, Immunocytochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml immunocytochemistry: 5ug/ml Immunofluorescence: 2.5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: 3T3 (NIH) Cell Lysate, 3T3/BALB Cell Slide Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
