Extra Details:: FOXH1 is a member of the Forkhead-box (FOX) family of transcription factors and is the human homolog of Xenopus forkhead activin signal transducer-1. FOXH1 plays an important role in mediating TGF-beta/activin signals through its interaction with the SMAD2-SMAD4 complex. It is expressed primarily during early development and localizes in the cytoplasm until it forms a complex with the SMAD proteins at which time it translocates to the nucleus to positively or negatively affect gene expression. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml Immunofluorescence: 20ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Human Liver Tissue Lysate, Human Liver Tissue Slide Molecular Weight: ~40kD Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
