- FLT3 is a member of the class III receptor tyrosine kinase family and its internal tandem duplication (ITD) is preferentially seen in acute myeloid leukemia and myelodysplastic syndrome among various hematological malignancies. It is a membrane bound glycosylated protein that is expressed primarily in early hematopoietic progenitor cells. Upon binding its ligand FL, FLT3 activates multiple signaling pathways including the PI3K/Akt and Ras/MEK/MAPK pathways. In cells expressing FLT3-ITD, these pathways are constitutively on, resulting in abnormal cell growth and anti-apoptotic activity. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml Immunofluorescence: 20ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: 3T3 Cell Lysate, Human Kidney Tissue Slide Molecular Weight: ~109kD Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
