Extra Details:: Component or associated component of some histone methyltransferase complexes may regulate transcription through recruitment of those complexes on gene promoters. Enhances ligand-dependent transcriptional activation by nuclear hormone receptors. Plays an important role in neural progenitor cell proliferation and self-renewal through the regulation of specific genes involved brain development, including REST. Also controls the expression of genes involved in somatic development and regulates, for instance, lymphoblast proliferation. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:5000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
