Extra Details:: Acts as a transcriptional activator. Required for the maintenance of NEUROD1 expression in the horomone-producing endocrine cells of the pancreas. May be involved in specifying diencephalic neuromeric boundaries, and in controlling the expression of genes that play a role in axonal guidance. Associates with chromatin at the NEUROD1 promoter region. Binds to a subset of consensus elements within the NEUROD1 promoter. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
