- Extra Details:
- Phosphorylates serines and threonines, but also appears to possess tyrosine kinase activity (By similarity). Involved in DNA damage checkpoint control and for proper DNA damage repair. In response to injury that includes DNA damage, NEK1 phosphorylates VDAC1 to limit mitochondrial cell death Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:200-1:500 Immunofluorescence: 1:50-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
