- Catalytic subunit of the enzyme which catalyzes the decarboxylation of isocitrate (ICT) into alpha-ketoglutarate. The heterodimer composed of the alpha (IDH3A) and beta (IDH3B) subunits and the heterodimer composed of the alpha (IDH3A) and gamma (IDH3G) subunits, have considerable basal activity but the full activity of the heterotetramer (containing two subunits of IDH3A, one of IDH3B and one of IDH3G) requires the assembly and cooperative function of both heterodimers. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:5000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:20-1:200 Immunofluorescence: 1:50-1:200 Immunoprecipitation: 1:200-1:2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
