Extra Details:: Receptor for oxysterol 7-alpha,25-dihydroxycholesterol (7-alpha,25-OHC) and other related oxysterols. Binding of 7-alpha,25-OHC mediates the correct localization of B-cells during humoral immune responses. Promotes activated Bcell localization in the outer follicle and interfollicular regions. Its specific expression during B-cell maturation helps position B-cells appropriately for mounting T-dependent antibody responses. Signals constitutively through G(i)-alpha, but not through G(s)-alpha or G(q)-alpha. Signals constitutively also viaMAPK1/3 (ERK1/2). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:20-1:200 Immunofluorescence: 1:50-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
