Extra Details:: Canine interleukin-13 is an immunoregulatory cytokine produced by activated T lymphocytes. In canines IL-13 is thought to have a regulatory role in allergic diseases. In in vitro experiments IL-13 was able to stimulate production of allergen-specific-IgE. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa19-131 from canine IL-13, expressed in Pichia pastoris Molecular Weight: ~12.3kD Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS, 0.1% carrier protein. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
