Extra Details:: Human parvovirus B19 (B19) is an erythrovirus responsible for acute and chronic anemia in susceptible patients. The virus replicates, both in vivo and in vitro, in the nucleus of the erythroid progenitors. The viral capsid is composed of two viral proteins, VP1 and VP2, the latter making up almost 96% of the viral capsid proteins. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1:10,000 Flow Cytometry: 1:200-1:400 Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:200-1:1000 Immunocytochemistry: 1:200-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
