Extra Details:: Ovalbumin (OVA) is used in variety of laboratories products which contain OVA as a carrier protein. To raise antibodies against small non-immunogenic molecules, called haptens, it is often necessary to couple them to carrier protein, such as OVA. This antibody is a good reagent that may be used for the development of detection assay in ELISA or western blot to test the remaining OVA for clinical products in Vivo or research products In Vitro. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:10,000 Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
