- CEACAM8 (carcinoembryonic antigen related cell adhesion molecule 8) is a protein coding gene. Diseases associated with CEACAM8 include endocarditis and Shwartzman phenomenon. Among its related pathways are innate immune system and cell surface interactions at the vascular wall. An important paralog of this gene is CEACAM1. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:10,000 Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
