Extra Details:: Balb/3T3 cells are established from a BALB/c mouse embryo. Balb/3T3 cells are extremely sensitive to contact inhibition of cell division, grow at a high dilution, exhibit a low saturation density and are highly susceptible to transformation in tissue culture by the oncogenic DNA virus, SV40, and murine sarcoma virus. Quality Control: Western Blot analyzed by both GAPDH and Beta tubulin antibody Preparation Before Usage: Heat lysate to 95°C for 5 minutes and rapidly cool before use. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
