Extra Details:: Adeno-associated virus (AAV) is a small virus which infects humans and some other primate species. AAV is not currently known to cause disease and consequently the virus causes a very mild immune response. AAV can infect both dividing and non-dividing cells and may incorporate its genome into that of the host cell. Applications: Suitable for use in Neutralization, Dot Blot, ELISA, Immunofluorescence, Immunocytochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Not suitable for Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunofluorescence (IC): 1:20 Immunoprecipitation: 1:5 Dot Blot: 1:500 (0.1ug/ml; non-denaturing conditions) Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
