- Extra Details:
- Levodopa is the precursor to dopamine. Most commonly, Levodopa is used as a dopamine replacement agent for the treatment of Parkinson disease. It is most effectively used to control bradykinetic symptoms that are apparent in Parkinson disease. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunocytochemistry: 5-20ug/ml Immunohistochemistry: 5-20ug/ml Western Blot: 0.2-2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
