Extra Details:: Recombinant lectin protein with a Hexa-His Tag from the CRD streptococcus gordonii DL1 Sia1, expressed in E. coli. Purity: ≥95% (SDS PAGE analysis using Coomassie Blue detection and gel Permeation Chromatography) Form: Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Specificity: Terminal α2-3-linked Sialic Acid (Neu5Ac) – on both N-linked and O-Linked Molecular Weight: 27,407.14D (Monomer), Exists a monomer under physiological conditions (PBS, pH 7.2) Usage Guidelines: •RPL activity requires metal ions. All buffers must be supplemented with 1mM CaCl2, MgCl2 and MnCl2. •Recommended dilution to desired working concenration (≤20ug/ml) in TBS, pH 7.6. •Following dilution with TBS and supplemented with metal ions, the RPL should be incubated for a minimum of 30 minutes prior to use to allow the metal complexation. Theoretical Ext. Coefficient [E0.1%]: 1.059 Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
